Information About the Event:
Hosted annually each fall semester, The Citadel School of Engineering's Career Expo is a great way for both employers and students to connect with one another. The School of Engineering has undergraduate and graduate programs in civil, computer, construction, electrical, and mechanical engineering as well as project/program management with an enrollment of over 700+ students.
The Citadel School of Engineering has been ranked one of the Top-25 Engineering Programs in the nation (where the terminal degree is a masters) for the past 7-consecutive years! Our success is built on the success of our students, and so employers can expect to meet the most prepared, educated, and trained students nationally!
Overview:
Using Zoom Meetings, this year’s Engineering Expo will be held online over a 2-week duration with available time-slots to speak with undergraduates on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00pm of each week. All employers specifically interested in recruiting graduate level students will be able to recruit on Wednesdays, when graduate students are not in class.
Format:
Employers will select days from each of the 2-weeks that they’re available to host online Zoom recruiting sessions. We will assign days, doing our best to honor each request. Students will receive a schedule outlining your Zoom info, the types of majors your seeking, and current employment opportunities. If you’re seeking graduate students, you’ll be able to participate on both Wednesdays.
Steps to Register
Please note that you must have a paid Zoom account/license (under $15/month) and your company must be registered with The Citadel's Career Management System (called Handshake).
- Before getting started, you must have a paid Zoom account (under $15/month)
- Pre-register and pay via Handshake and Touchnet payment portal (link coming soon)
- Setup a recurring Zoom meeting and ensure (1) the password is 123 and (2) waiting room is turned off. Tip: Write down the resulting meeting ID#.
- Finish registration at (link coming soon) filling out all applicable information, including Zoom meeting ID#
